Ashott Barton

There are two main breeds of cattle at Ashott Barton;
Devons and Dexters. In later years our focus has shifted more towards the Devons. They now number around 80 whilst the Dexters are down to about 10. As well as these two breeds we have a small number of Angus which we are experimenting with.

Over the years we have gone from having sheep lodged in every nook about the farm to a much reduced flock with this year lambing only five ewes!
