The contrast to the last two years was striking. Over the last two years we have experienced extreme weather. Last year during calving we had several feet of snow and all our water froze resulting in many days of carrying buckets of water about to thirsty milking cows. The yards became icy and treacherous to both us and cows alike! This years’ climate was much kinder to us and our girls.
